For all of the inspiration we've been fortunate to receive in the past decade, and out of all those Tim Ferriss quotes, there is no second guessing our initial selection.
“What would this look like if it were easy?”
A reminder that tends to pop up in the midst of problem-solving.
We’re all smart, and we collectively can look a problem in infinite ways. But what is the best approach to keeping the solution simple?
Why do we need to complicate everything?
The more we complicate, the less productive we become.
The less of a leader we become.
The less of who we want to be we become.
No other time in human history has life been more complex (this will always be true for only the exact moment it’s said), so give yourself a break and approach things with a perspective of ease.
Don’t make it harder than it needs to be.
Simple is simple.
- Ability to make a quick, impactful decision
- Save yourself time and money in the long run
- Creating pause to allow for new ideas
Remember what your 7th-grade teacher, Mr. Arnold, who told you about the KISS method? Yeah, me too. Let’s just grab what we’re used to here and get to work. Keep it selfishly simple! ;)
